Privacy Policy

This policy explains what In Light of Peace (“we”, “us”) collects and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account details: your first name, email address and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password.
• Your questions and answers, so you can see them again under My questions.
• Plan details from Stripe: whether your monthly plan is active and when it renews. Stripe handles your card; we never see the card number.
• Messages you send through the contact form.
• Basic server logs (such as IP address and pages visited) kept for security for a short time.

How we use it

To run your account, answer your questions, manage your plan, send account emails (such as confirming your email or resetting your password), keep the service safe, and reply to you. We don’t sell your information and we don’t show ads.

Who we share it with

• Anthropic (Claude AI) receives the text of your question to write the answer. Anthropic does not use it to train its models.
• Stripe processes payments for the monthly plan.
• GreaterLink (Mountain City, Tennessee) hosts the website and its email.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

Your choices

You can update your name and translation, change your password, and delete your account at any time from the Account page. Deleting your account removes your questions and answers and ends your plan. Billing records may be kept by Stripe as the law requires.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you logged in. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

The service is for people 13 and older.
