Terms of Service
In Light of Peace (“we”, “us”) is based in Mountain City, Tennessee. By creating an account or using inlightofpeace.com you agree to these terms.
What the service is
You ask a question and receive an answer drawn from the Bible. Bible verses are quoted from the King James Version and the Berean Standard Bible, both in the public domain. The explanations are written with the help of artificial intelligence (Anthropic’s Claude), guided by Scripture.
Answers are for Bible study, reflection and prayer. They may contain mistakes. They are not pastoral counseling and not medical, mental-health, legal or financial advice. Please test what you read against Scripture and talk with your pastor, your church, or a qualified professional about decisions in your life. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 in the US, or call 911.
Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old. Please give a real email address and keep your password private. One free account per person. We may close accounts that abuse the service, try to get around its limits, or use it to harm others.
Free questions and the monthly plan
Each new account includes a small number of free questions, shown on the pricing section of our home page. After that, the monthly plan costs the price shown when you subscribe (currently $5 a month) and includes the number of questions shown there (currently 150 a month). Unused questions don’t carry over to the next month.
The plan renews automatically every month until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your Account page; you keep access until the end of the month you’ve paid for. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. If something went wrong with a charge, contact us and we’ll make it right.
We may change prices or plan limits in the future. We will tell subscribers by email before a price change affects them, and you can cancel before it does.
Acceptable use
Please don’t use the service to harass anyone, to try to make it produce harmful content, to copy it in bulk with automated tools, or to break the law.
Our responsibility
We provide the service “as is” and do our best to keep it running and accurate. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last three months.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Questions? Use our contact form. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
